Q2-Bottom discharge valve is a two-component part positioned on the barrel assembly between the standing and traveling valves.  This discharge valve is attached to the bottom portion of the barrel assembly and performs as an intermediary valve that allows pumped fluid into the annulus between the outside of the pump and the tubing wall.

• Wells with corrosive fluid
• Wells with low to moderate amounts of sand
