Experienced CNC Machinist
Q2 ALS manufacturing division is a safety first and growing team that immediately needs all levels of Machinist and Programmers. Positions are based in our state-of the-art Red Deer manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities: • Set up and operate CNC Machines to perform machining operations, such as turning and milling. • Edit programs to maximize efficiency • Completing work orders and associated documents • Measure machined parts and record results. • Monitor machine output. Record and report issues affecting production • Report any requirements for tools, parts and supplies to Manager • Conduct regular routine maintenance on shop equipment • Mentor CNC operators and apprentices as needed.
Qualifications & Experience: • Journeyman Machinist ticket preferred but not required. • 2-3 Years Machining Experience • Mazak experience preferred • Mechanical aptitude • Ability to read and interpret blue prints • Ability to work independently • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform duties in an machine shop environment We thank all that apply, but will only contact those selected for an interview.
